Leveling cross country and track & field competition in Indiana

Ike's Spikes Indy is committed to providing athletes with proper footwear for their events, a problem often overlooked in running sports.  An athlete suffers a severe disadvantage without a pair of spikes, which cost $75-100 on average.

At the high school level, proper shoes are imperative to be competitive, and it is tragic that many athletes are curbed by their financial situations.  Ike'sSpikesIndy is a community initiative that was started to address this problem.

Upcoming Plans 

We are now busy reaching out to our first benefactor schools and launching spike drives at Zionsville and other schools.  We plan to reach out to enthusiast locations around Indianapolis to collect spikes and make our process easier for all parties.
